Rockers Cottage is a beautiful stone built
house situated in the heart of The Peak
District National Park in the picturesque
village of Tideswell. The village church, shops, tea rooms, pubs/restaurants, tennis
courts, bowling green and art gallery are all within 500 yards of the cottage.
The two bed-roomed cottage
accommodates up to 5 people. It is spacious,
comfortable and well equipped making an ideal base for
couples, friends and families from which to explore the
beautiful Peak District.
Tideswell village is surrounded by glorious rolling hills
and beautiful dales. There are sparkling rivers, leafy
dales and superb countryside to explore.
Amongst the myriad of
walks visitors can enjoy are The Monsal Trail, The River Wye
and The Limestone Way.
The market town of Bakewell
is close by as is Buxton with its famous Opera House and
Castleton where you can visit the Blue John caves.
Chatsworth, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire,
is one of Britain’s best loved historic houses and estates .
Offering something for everyone to enjoy, from famous works
of art and the spectacular fountains in the garden to the
children's' Adventure Playground, it is set in magnificent
landscape, and is seen in the recently released film of
‘Pride and Prejudice’.
